Legendary dark ore found at extreme depths. Demonite is one of the rarest materials in The Forge, used for crafting the most powerful Legendary weapons. **Detailed Location & Mining Process:** Demonite ore spawns exclusively at depths between 600-900 meters in the Volcanic Depths area. To mine efficiently, you must have the Arcane Pickaxe (obtained from Fallen Angel's Cave). Without it, mining Demonite with lower-tier pickaxes takes 10x longer. The ore appears as dark purple/black crystalline formations embedded in the walls. Look for clusters of 2-3 ores together - they're easier to spot in well-lit areas. Mining each ore takes approximately 20-30 seconds with the Arcane Pickaxe. Pro tip: Bring extra Coal for smelting, as you'll want to convert ores to ingots immediately to save inventory space. Demonite is essential for crafting the Demonite Axe, one of the most powerful weapons in the game. Plan your mining trip carefully - you'll need at least 12 ores (for one weapon), but we recommend gathering 20-30 for multiple attempts at Masterwork quality.
