Legendary weapon crafted from Demonite ore. Extremely powerful weapon with devastating damage. **Detailed Acquisition Process:** First, you must obtain the Arcane Pickaxe (see Arcane Pickaxe guide) as it's required for efficient mining at extreme depths. Travel to the mining area and descend to depths between 600-900 meters. Demonite ore spawns in small clusters, typically 2-3 ores per cluster. You'll need 12 Demonite Ingots to craft this weapon. Mine 12 Demonite Ore (found at 600-900m depth), then smelt them into ingots at the furnace using Coal as fuel. Next, visit the Anvil and select 'Demonite Axe' from the crafting menu. You'll need to complete the 3-step manual forging minigame perfectly to achieve Masterwork quality. The minigame requires precise timing: (1) Heat the metal when the temperature gauge reaches the green zone, (2) Cast when the molten metal reaches optimal viscosity, (3) Hammer at the exact moment the metal glows brightest. Perfect execution yields Masterwork quality with 20-30% stat boost. This weapon is essential for defeating the Goblin King and other end-game bosses.
